clean and comfy buses - GOKL |
Upon reaching Petaling Street, we strolled past all the stalls selling bags, t-shirts, watches etc and arrived at the cross junction of the stalls. it was so easy that all the food stalls and eateries are located just there (not challenging enough though... haha)
Kim Lian Kee turned out to be an air-con restaurant, though both of us expected it to be an old-school coffeeshop.
Lor Mee w/pan mee - 4/5 (the soup is yummy, with lotsa veg) |
famous Hokkien Mee - 3.5/5 (I dun like the yeast taste in the noodles) |
Fried Chicken - 4/5 |
Next, we tried 豆花 with 水 which was really cooling and yummy.
Within a minute apart, we arrived at the famous muah chee stall! Haha... we bought a box of the original flavour and I really loved the way it was soft, not too sweet and does not stick to my teeth when I chewed!
Aunty has been selling for more than 50 years! |
With the humid weather, we decided to end off with 龟苓膏.
Other stalls you guys may like to try include the mata kuching drink (longan drink) which has been there forever... and also the peanut pancake, which still tasted yummy after afew hours - yes we could not eat anymore after all of the above.
Day Two was spent at Sunway Lagoon, but I did not bring my camera so yeah no pics taken... Below is a collage done by hubby (taken from his instagram)
