我下厨的日记 Diary of my homecooked food

Besides zero monosodium glutamate (MSG), less oil and salt - my homecooked food is rather simple, nothing fanciful and I really try to make them healthy (once in awhile adding in some happening and sinful yet 幸福 food)

Here are some snippets of our latest dinners at home.

Experimented with bacon wrapped asparagus, with the help of my best assistant (Philips Air Fryer), and got alot of positive feedback from the hubby who loves unhealthy food. Haha...
First, I cut the huge asparagus in halves, then wrap half a bacon around each (had wanted to make it bite-size)
Then it went into the airfryer and grilled for 8mins at 180deg (to make sure all was cooked)
Added another 5mins at 200deg (so the bacon will be brown and slightly crispy)
It is definitely a very easy recipe - hassle-free and so fast to prepare!

As it was an impromptu dinner on Tuesday, there was no soup and everything was simple - steamed eggs with minced pork, stiryfry cabagge and grilled cheese with bacon

It is really a bliss to cook for others and much happier to see them enjoying the food.
